TEDxAmsterdam is the locally organized little brother of TED; a global organization that brings the greatest minds on earth together to share their ideas. As a part of the TEDxAmsterdam integrated brand experience campaign ‘Ideas UniTED’ created by We Are Pi, we designed a visual language with a human feel for the campaign, event branding print, event branding film, live broadcast and publications.
The idea for the campaign to unite TED’s followers and increase online viewers was simple: Fill your brains with ideas. For all the campaign’s photography, film and live performance on location a big brain was made out of humans.
For the translation of this campaign idea – a brain made of humans – we developed an identity based on the same principal. Instead of human bodies we used human finger prints to form a brain.
