Taxi Amsterdam approached us for an infographics animation explaining kpn’s new mobile plan structure. The film introduces and explains the online tool you use to put together a mobile plan on kpn.com. We reworked the script into a live action film. Instead of animating typography and other illustrated elements we let hands and phones tell the story. We created this colorful stylized world in which a careful choreography of hands Illustrate the voice over text in a fun and surprising way. There are still some animations in the film but these are all on the phone screens, most of them actually triggered by the actors’ hands and filmed on set. Picking a mobile plan is no fun; at the very least the film you watch explaining the process should be.
